Rooms are equipped with all modern amenities for a comfortable life style.6 single / twin rooms with attached toilets and 44 twin sharing rooms with common toilets available. Each room is provided with private balcony over looking a village like serene surrounding.
Each floor has two wings on either side, with either 7 or 8 rooms for which there are 3 toilets, 3 showers and 3 wash-basins on each wing. A room is provided with two beds, two wardrobes and two tables/chairs with the facility of having a computer on it and is also provided with adequate lighting and a ceiling fan. There are 6 rooms with attached bath and toilets. Sanitary bins are provided in the toilets to assist the inmates to maintain highest hygiene levels
Recreation
Residents have ample space and facilities for recreation and relaxation in terms of a common recreation area and a roof top garden plus a TV Lobby.
Facilities to study
Each and every room has a terminal for internet access to share with two inmates.24 hour internet access would be a great advantage for the undergraduate resident to continue their research work on the internet.
Study area which is located on the second floor provides an open area for the residents to share and exchange knowledge enabling group study. It can also be used as a recreation area
Security
Around the clock security is provided to the hosted and the vicinity. Serene Hostel is fitted with state of the art fire detecting and fire fighting system in case of an emergency. All the inmates have to be signed in and signed out. No visitors after 6 pm. Movements of all inmates are monitored by the security. In addition there is a wall around the whole building.
Sumptuous mouth watering meals for breakfast and dinner are prepared in our well equipped modern kitchen by in-house cooks to the highest hygienic standard. A Separate dining area is located on the first floor which is equipped with a Television to enjoy the hygienically prepared food comfortably.
Breakfast, dinner and tea are included in the standard rate package. Light meals and lunch can be ordered.
Roof top garden
There is also a roof top with a panoramic view which is so peaceful and ideal for those who prefer a quiet environment to get rid of the tiredness or the boredom or even to arrange an evening party with a barbeque

Separate washing area is available and laundry facility can be arranged.
If there is a need to provide them with linen and a room TV (TV to be provided by the occupant) we could accommodate them at an extra charge in the same package.
If there are requests for the room/s to be air conditioned, we could also cater for their requirements at an additional charge.
The hostel is also provided with fire prevention and fire protection system coupled with water hoses.
The janitorial and other cleaning work is outsourced to maintain standards at the highest levels
